In 1783 American Christians passed through a night of despair over extremely low moral and spiritual conditions in our young nation, but they were encouraged by news of local revivals in England. A few folks prayed that God would intervene in America too, and God moved in some local churches in New England in 1780's in preparation for the great outpouring of blessing in the 1790's. Prayer can save America today.
